1. Low Cost FunTeam activities use inexpensive equipment and local facilities such as outdoor rinks, school gymnasiums and playing fields.	2. Less Competitive FunTeam offers the opportunity for individuals to play sports and to do their best.
3. Family Involvement FunTeam encourages parents and children to play together.	4. Complementary to Organized Sport FunTeam provides another option for them. Organized sport may be too expensive, too time consuming or too competitive.
5. Safety FunTeam activities take place in a safe environment which allows individuals and families to try something new or improve on existing skills.	6. Manageable Time Commitment The time commitment for families is quite manageable.
7. Skill Development Children, youth, and adults develop important social and physical skills in positive learning environments.	8. Fair Play FunTeam incorporates the concept of fair play into activities.
