We are so excited to announce that Nathan Boland of Drumheller FunTeam Hockey is a 2019 nominee for the Nicky Sereda Outstanding Participant Award!

Nathan is 14 years old and has been participating with Drumheller FunTeam Hockey since 2016. He has grown every year since joining and developed his skills on the ice with the help of his coaches and into a model represenative for the organization displaying many of the traits that our principles aim to encourage in each FunTeam member.

Nathan is diagnosed with Global Delay and has never been able to play on a school or community league team before as they are dictated by age of the participants. FunTeam has allowed him the opportunity to excel in an environment where he can learn at his own pace.

Nathan sets an example with his sportsmanship, respectfulness, and is hard work while never letting the main goal of having fun get lost.

We are so proud of Nathan's development and want to congratulate Nathan on the nomination!
