  “An enjoyable family orientated sporting challenge!”

The M & M Meat Shops FunTeam Family Triathlon is geared towards active families and community groups who are interested in promoting a healthier lifestyle to their children or children who are interested in promoting a healthier lifestyle to their families!  Teams of three people will enter and each will choose between one of the three events: a 2 km inline skate, 2 km bike, or a 2 km run/walk.  Triathlon proceeds will be distributed by FunTeam Alberta with 50 % of the funds raised earmarked to support a worthy project in your community. 

FunTeam Alberta will provide your community group with:

A provincially sanctioned event
An opportunity for every participant to win a trip for four to Disneyland!
Established fund pools which can be accessed by your group
A customized event planning kit for your community 
Local sponsorship recognition
Media exposure
Liaison support
Goody bags for each participant full of prizes from our provincial sponsors!

Ongoing support from our qualified staff and volunteers

 

Community Organizers Responsibility:

Commit to organizing the event in your community
Determine a date, time, and route
Promote the event in the community
Accept registrations
Run the event
Acquire local sponsors (optional)
